Indication:Rifampin is indicated for the prophylaxis and treatment of all forms of tuberculosis; for the treatment of asymptomatic carriers of Neisseria meningitidis to eliminate meningococci from the nasopharynx; for severe infections due to methicillin resistant staphylococci spp. in combination with vancomycin; for community-acquired infections in combination with erythromycin.
